The range of commercial feng shui ornaments and decorative items such as dragin, money toad, mandarin ducks, etc. are not used in traditional feng shui practice. Instead, natural materials of the 5 elements that are found in your home should be utilized. Authentic Feng Shui should help to improve the quality of your life and should not burn a hole in your pocket.
Whether this is bad affliction depends very much on whether the sight of the lamp post is bothering you mentally. If a lamp post is “sha qi”, it follows that every 25 meters on our highways and streets is a “sha qi”. This cannot be true.
Toilet should be kept clean and sanitized. It makes sense to keep the lid down when we are flushing to prevent bacteria from setting on surfaces. This is a hygiene issue as opposed to a feng shui matter.
The fengshui of such homes, like any other home, would depend on its compass facing and the surrounding environment. It would be wrong to make a sweeping statement that all such homes are bad.
If you wish to improve aspects of your life such as career, relationship, health, etc. feng shui can create a harmonious synergy in your home and office to ensure that the energies in the premises works for rather than against you.
